بررسی کیفیت زندگی پرستاران بر اساس پرسشنامه سازمان جهانی بهداشت دربیمارستان های دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان

Abstract:

&nbsp;Background & Objectives : Along with the advances in many different levels of life, interest in measuring quality of life has increased. The aim of this study was to assess quality of life in hospitals of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. &nbsp;Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 300 nurses in hospitals of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences during 2012-2013. To determine the quality of life, the WHO questionnaire (WHOQOL-BREF) was used. Data was analyzed using SPSS software version 16. &nbsp;Result: The mean cores on physical and mental health dimensions in men were more than women (Pvalue <0.05). The lowest and the highest rate of quality of life were among dialysis and coronary care unit staffs, respectively. The average scores on the physical dimension was higher in singles than married, however, means cores of the social and psychological dimensions were higher in married. &nbsp;Conclusions : The highest rate of quality of life was related to physical, psychological, social, and environmental dimensions. So, it is recommended that managers take the necessary actions in order to improve the quality of life and health of the people of the community .
